I'm Fahad Yousaf, a hobbyist turned professional.
My tech journey began young. In 2004, at the tender age of 7, a Pentium 4 computer became my gateway to a digital world. Games and cartoons fueled my curiosity, but as the internet boomed in my early teens, I started wondering how things worked.
Simple tools like Frontpage and Wix ignited my passion for web design. Soon, I mastered WordPress, but the pull of coding was too strong. Learning PHP unlocked the power to control the very core of WordPress, further fueled by building my own MVC framework.
In 2017, with my brother Hammad, we co-founded WebIT.pk, a web hosting company. This ignited a whirlwind of learning. Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS – the building blocks of websites became my playground. Frameworks like Bootstrap and libraries like jQuery added design flair.
My expertise expanded to content management systems like WordPress and XenForo, while Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks offered even greater control. For smooth data storage, I mastered MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Collaboration became a breeze with Git version control, while deploying applications on different platforms – VPS, Linux, cloud providers – became second nature. Mastering WHM/cPanel added web hosting expertise to my arsenal.
Today, my toolkit overflows with essential tools: development environments like PhpStorm and VS Code, collaboration platforms like GitHub and Postman. And my problem-solving approach? Guided by Object-Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns, it ensures well-structured and efficient solutions.
From a curious kid to a developer with a diverse skillset, this journey continues! I'm ready to tackle any web development challenge that comes my way.
